I remember having read a verse in the bible which says that we should love our father and mother. This is very true because they are the ones who take care of us until we can cater for our own needs.
But to my point of view, there is one of the parents that we should take some time and offer our gratitude to for having given us that loving touch and many more. And this parent is our mother! They fight every day to ensure that our lives are comfortable and smooth as possible.
Often, our mothers are capable of doing anything just to see the whole family is comfortable. This is the most important reason why we should never underestimate them at all!
The story below might be familiar to you, but it needs you to do some deep reflection on it. This is to demonstrate to you that there are millions of moms out there who go to bed in late hours, just because they were ensuring that all…

Mom and Dad were watching TV when Mom said, “I’m tired and it’s getting late. I think I’ll go to bed.”
So she went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the next day’s lunches, rinsed the popcorn bowls, took meat out of the freezer for next day’s dinner, checked the cereal boxes, filled the sugar tin, put utensils back in the drawer, and set up the coffee pot for brewing the next morning.
Then, she put some wet clothes into the dryer, sewed a loose button onto a shirt, picked up the toys strewn on the floor, and put the telephone book back into the drawer.
Next, she watered the plants, emptied a wastebasket, hung up a towel to dry, wrote a note to her son’s teacher, and counted out some dollar bills for the kids’ field trip.

She signed a birthday card for a friend, addressed and stamped the envelope, and jotted down notes on her grocery list.
She filled the dog’s dish with water and put the cat outside. Then, she made sure the doors in the house were locked.
Finally, Mom went upstairs. She washed her face, put on moisturizer, and brushed her teeth.
Suddenly, Dad called out to her. “I thought you were going to bed,” he said.
“I’m on my way,” she replied.
She looked in on each of the children, turned out a bedside lamp, hung up a shirt, thew some dirty socks in the hamper, and had a brief conversation with her eldest child, who was still up doing homework.
She went back to her room, set the alarm, and laid out clothes for the next day.
At the same time, her husband turned off the TV, and announced, “I’m going to bed.”
And he did…without another thought.
