Guillaume Néry is a French freediver specialising in Constant Weight freediving. He broke the world record in 2002 at -87 meters in the Villefranche-sur-Mer harbour, in Alpes-Maritimes, France—now, he has a new record that will be hard to break!
Many adventurers risk their lives doing the impossible. They climb mountains where people dare not go, and dive under waters where even animals cannot fathom—literally.
Underwater BASE-jumper Guillaume Nery free dives into Dean’s Hole, the deepest blue hole in the world at 663 feet—and he’s got the viral video to prove it. He might now have touched the bottom, but the video clip is epic in itself.
“The distance is so far as to make it impossible. This movie is an artistic project, a fiction,” he said.
