Apparently, drinking just three cups of coffee a day could shrink some women’s breasts.
Coffee is an everyday drink for practically everybody in the world. 9 out of 10 people drink coffee in the morning to jump start their day. Drinking coffee makes it easier to NOT sleep on the job, doesn’t it? But do you know the effects of coffee on your body—specifically on your breasts?
According to a new study, too much caffeine can affect the hormones in their bodies, playing havoc with their bust size. According to the British Journal of Cancer, drinking three or more cups in a day is enough to cause a smaller breast size.
But of course, anything excessive can put your health at risk. Drinking just enough in a day will make us stay awake at times that we need to!
“Drinking coffee can have a major effect on breast size,” said Helena Jernstrom, from Lund University in Sweden, who led the study.
“Coffee-drinking women do not have to worry their breasts will shrink to nothing overnight.
“They will get smaller, but the breasts aren’t just going to disappear.”
She added: “However, anyone who thinks they can tell which women are coffee drinkers just from their bra measurements will be disappointed.
“The problem is that there are two measures for a bra, the cup size and the girth, so you wouldn’t be able to tell.”
Women who drank more than three cups of coffee a day had breasts an average of 17 per cent smaller than those whose who drank less than three cups a day.
