Dogs are highly intuitive creatures. Along with heightened senses of hearing and smell, they also seem to have a sixth sense: they can tell when someone is in danger, pain, or even just in need of comfort. It’s this instinctive nature that make dogs such effective service animals…and such loving companions.
When Dixie Morgan, a mother of two, adopted baby Danny, doctors warned her that the young boy would have developmental delays. As he grew, he struggled with speech, basic motor skills, and even potty training, but he did have one wish: a dog of his very own.
Dixie and her husband Edward were unable to grant Danny’s request, but just a few houses down, fate was about to intervene…

What an inspirational story! The friendship between Danny and Saki just goes to show how much dogs understand humans and know exactly when someone needs them the most.
