It seems that just about everyone of the younger generations is just absolutely glued to their cell phones these days. It’s a pretty well-known fact that those members of the “Millennial” generation need to be connected to some form of technology in order to properly function.
While it’s hilarious to poke fun at the stereotypes of these younger kids, at the end of the day, they’re the way of the future, and sooner or later they’re going to be in control of society. So while they might be young right now, it’s up to the older generations to use their wisdom and try to pass it forward to help out the younger ones!
Singer and songwriter Micah Tyler wanted to help spread the love for his generation in this hilarious video created for the Watermark Church Leaders Conference in Dallas.
Set to the famous Beatles song “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da,” this catchy tune has some pretty hilarious lyrics that point out the stereotypes that this younger generation fit into. While some of them are certainly true, Tyler wants to help break down barriers and easy excuses, and figures that we’d be better off uniting as generations rather than fighting each other!
While it’s always amusing to make fun of the younger ones, it certainly won’t hurt to help them out and show our wisdom just like how those who came before us showed us theirs!
They’re still on their cell phones too much, though.
Please SHARE this hilarious little song if you think it’s time we stop separating ourselves and join together!
